Limited Submissions - Screened in the Office of Research
What is a Limited Submission?
On occasion, award sponsors limit how many applicants UCI may submit for an award. In these cases the Office of Research establishes a pre-proposal screening process at the Campus, School or Department level (depending on which is appropriate for the given award competition). The process may vary slightly depending on the sponsor or award. More information on Limited Submission Procedures is available.
To alert the campus of the existence of these award competitions, the Office of Research forwards a description of the award and the process for screening applicants to the Deans, Directors and Chairs. These letters are posted here for your reference:
