Past Grant Information
The Research Development Office has participated in the creation and submission of more than seventy-five grants involving over 500 faculty from 45 departments in seven Schools. More than $300 million worth of grants have been submitted to date to Federal and State agencies and private foundations. Grant topics have included stem cell research, new and renovated buildings, chemical bonding at the space-time limit, graduate programs in fields from math and physics to systems biology and molecular medicine, mass spectrometry equipment, establishing a marine biology field station at Crystal Cove, Centers in systems biology, chemical informatics, imaging genetics, and translational research, and funding to hire and support a more diverse array of faculty and students in all Sciences at UCI.
