University Laboratory Animal Resources (ULAR):
See the ULAR website for information, forms, policies, and regulations. ULAR staff is responsible for:

• Husbandry and veterinary care of all research animals
• Importing and exporting animals
• Purchasing animals
• Allocating space in animal holding rooms

ULAR is the home department of the TMF.

UCI Animal Care and Use Program:
All rules and regulations governing the use of animals in research at UCI are determined by the federal government and UCI’s Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). See the Animal Care and Use Program website for information, regulations, and forms. All research involving animals must be approved by the IACUC.

UCI-MouseUsers:
A low-volume email list maintained by the TMF for the exclusive use of UCI faculty, staff, and students. The list is unmoderated and replies are sent to the list by default. Subscribe here.

Mouse Strain Database:
Established by the TMF and the Database and Web Development team in the Office of Research. Access the database here.
